something personal

Today I have another kind of news. It concerns me on a personal level and will influence not only my RL but also my SL.

Some of you are already in the loop and I want to thank you guys for being there for me.
Not only have you been listening to me, giving me strength thereby and encouraging me, you also have thought of somehing exceptional.

Since I can't contact everybody personally but I think that you should know whats going on I've chosen this way to tell you.

Some weeks ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. With a high probability the tumor is benign. Presumably the surgery will take place on january 28th 2013. Until then I'm gonna try to be online as often as possible but unfortunately I won't be able to work as much as I used to.

After the surgery I'm gonna need some time to recover so I will not be able to work for a few month.

I was discussing the fear of loosing my Sim and Shop with some Friends on Plurk and they surprised me with an incredible plan.
To save SwayLand and Sway's and to help me through this challenging time they have created TFS. Together for Sway

I am overwhelmed and practically speechless about the level of support I have experienced so far.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

old movie

I fell asleep in front of the TV during an old black and white movie.
You know these kind of movies where she enters a detective office, to report a missing whatever. After they survive dangerous situations and find the lost whatever, she falls in love with the handsome detective. The last scene is the romantic Hollywood kiss.

cinema

I love going to the movies!

No movie without popcorn, nachos and gummy bears... and of course a cold drink. It's always a problem to carry all that stuff, they should offer a servant or at least a basket... or maybe a servant with a basket.

So after we got all MY food ;) I have to figure out which movie we want to see. Sid wants to see the new horror film, but I don't like scary movies.
He on the other side is not a big fan of romantic comedies. I guess it's best to choose an action movie since we both enjoy those.
Hopefully we bought enough snacks, because usually everything is finished during the previews.

tsukimi

Tsukimi (Moon Viewing) is a Japanese festival to honoring the autumn moon.

I put on my Kimono and visited this lovely, silent place with a little pond in which the full moon reflects.

I had a seat by the water and enjoyed the Shiratama-dango (Japanese dumpling) and the green tea in this beautiful atmosphere.

This place is really worth a visit. In the house is a little market with traditional japanese tsukimi items and a little gift.

Everything started when Sidney showed me his new jacket. Green! That is MY color! As soon as he turned around I just took his jacket and made it to my ;)

Well, as a guy you have to shave something on your head, right? I don't have a beard (thankfully) so I left some hair...

What else... Yep I need a bike. I took a test drive and it was real fun. Maybe I'll stay a guy for more than a day :)

furniture in the garden

I was on a little vacation for the weekend and when I came home I found my furniture in the garden and boxes with my stuff in front of the door.

My first thought was: Sidney kicks me out of my own house?!
Carefully I opened the door... It took a load off my mind. Sid stood on the ladder and painted the wall.

the car

Sid bugged me all day with the question whether he may drive my car.
To be honest ... I do not like when others drive with my car. Then you always have to readjust the seat and mirror. And I'm not a good passenger, I am always carsick.

But since I knew he would not stop annoying me... so I said: yes

What a surprise! This time I was not carsick...
because we ended up making out on the back seat ;)

I was shopping... and I had a little snack on the way.
I couldn't decide taking the yummy macarons or the healthy food. So I took them both :)

breakfast

After a long night with way to less sleep we got up to have a tiny breakfast. There was nothing left in the kitchen just herbs, eggs and coffee.
Luckily I found some food in the fridge to make a sandwich.

Sid was not in a good mood, until he saw the new egg cup and its moving legs. I guess from now on we will have eggs for breakfast every day :)
